Hi,
Do we get charged for storage for the _meta field?

Hi @yaron, great question! The _meta field is not distinguished from other fields, so it is charged the same.

One thing to note here is that unlike other fields _meta field tend to have a lot of duplicate entries from one row to another like _meta.s3 which might have the S3 bucket name. In those cases Rockset’s default data compression techniques do a really good job of storing those efficiently without duplicating those fields for every row.
